This training is not designed to build walls or reinforce stereotypes about different generations. We will base our approach on general generational assumptions (Baby Boomers, Generation X, Y, Z) in order to identify common ground, understand, and highlight the power of a diverse, multi-generational team. The goal is to show how we can learn from one another, the value we bring to each other, and how synergy can be achieved. Ultimately, we will seek to understand the unique contributions of each generation to the team, while acknowledging that each individual is unique and irreplaceable—proving that age may not necessarily be the most relevant criterion:

Goals:
After participating in the program, you will be able to:
  • Understand the values, motivations, and aspirations of various team members
  • Tailor communication strategies to meet the needs of individual team members
  • Align tasks and objectives with shared expectations
  • Identify effective communication methods within the team

  • Program:

  • Baby Boomers, Generation X, Millennials, and Generation Z—what do they expect in communication with employers?
  • The Role of Authority (?)—what works with older generations, and what resonates with younger ones?
  • Needs, motivations, aspirations, and values of Generation X, Millennials, and Generation Z—facts and myths
  • The influence of environment, upbringing, and technology on shaping generational values
  • The generational perspective in communication and feedback reception
  • Common ground — how to foster understanding and collaboration across generations?
  • This program is designed to equip organizations, especially multinational companies, with the tools to build stronger, more cohesive teams by embracing the diverse perspectives that different generations bring. The approach ensures that communication strategies are not only inclusive but also customized to enhance performance, engagement, and collaboration in a diverse work environment.
